What's new at ShopWired?

A new cancel pre-order action is now available for pre-orders where payment was not successfully collected (for example, where a stored card was declined).

Using this option will:

• Remove the pre-order marker from the order
• Cancel the associated card setup intent
• Create a refund record for the full order amount so the order total is reduced to zero
• Add an admin order comment confirming the pre-order was cancelled

This allows merchants to properly close off failed pre-orders without deleting the order, while keeping an accurate commercial and accounting record. Read more.
