What's new at ShopWired?

Support has been added for Cardstream’s capture delay functionality within the Cardstream payment gateway integration.

ShopWired now maps its existing payment capture behaviour to Cardstream’s capture delay parameter as follows:

• When Automatically capture payments is enabled, payments are captured immediately and the capture delay value is set to 0
• When Automatically capture payments is disabled, payments are authorised only and the capture delay value is set to -1, preventing automatic capture

This allows merchants using Cardstream to choose between immediate capture and manual capture while remaining compatible with Cardstream’s capture delay requirements.

Capture, void and refund actions are supported via Cardstream’s direct API, with capture state handled correctly within ShopWired.

Within your ShopWired account when viewing an order you can now:

• Capture either the full or partial amount of a transaction
• Payments must be captured within 7 days
• Void a transaction (releasing the held funds)
