Checkout address history preserved when returning from basket
Previously, when a customer entered their address during checkout and then returned to the basket page, their entered address details were lost. If the customer proceeded through checkout again, they were required to re-enter their address information.
Checkout now temporarily remembers the address entered by the customer during the . If the customer returns to the basket page and then proceeds back into checkout, the previously entered address will be used to prefill the address fields.
This behaviour only applies during the active session and does not alter the underlying checkout session logic, which is still reset when the basket page is visited.
In some cases ShopWired may override the country during checkout depending on the store configuration. When this occurs, the remembered address may be adjusted or partially replaced to match the valid checkout country.
