What's new at ShopWired?

A bug that affected the calculation of the processing fees for ShopWired Payments transactions where the customer used a card registered in the USA for the transaction has been resolved.

Between 7th January 2025 and 3rd February 2025 ShopWired Payments charged no processing fee for transactions resulting from USA cards (irrespective of the card type, except for American Express cards).

As a result of the bug, no processing fee will be displayed when viewing the transaction within ShopWired on the transaction information page and any reports (such as an activity report) will list the processing fee as 0.

A fix was implemented on 3rd February 2025 and transactions processed on or after the fix will be charged at the correct rate for international card transactions.

ShopWired Payments will not be retrospectively charging users who received transactions where a processing fee was not charged.
