What's new at ShopWired?

If you have configured your ShopWired account to charge visitors the VAT equivalent price of products and delivery in their order where the visitor is completing their order from a location where you do not charge VAT, you can now select how VAT equivalent pricing is calculated to:

• Calculate VAT equivalent pricing based on the VAT rate of the visitor's location
• Calculate VAT equivalent pricing based on the VAT rate of your ShopWired account's location

Before this change, VAT equivalent pricing was always calculated based on the visitor's location if the visitor was completing their order from a location where VAT might be charged depending on the value of their order (the VAT threshold).

To change your VAT settings to calculate VAT equivalent pricing based on the VAT rate of your Shopwired account's location:

1. Navigate to Settings > VAT
2. Locate the visitors and customers from outside of the UK section
3. Select your ShopWired account's default VAT rate for the when calculating VAT equivalent pricing, which VAT rate should be used setting
