Managing categories
To manage your existing categories select from the menu.
To search for one of your categories use the search box at the top of the page:
The ‘Existing Categories’ box allows you to manage multiple aspects of your existing categories:
Image displays the current chosen image for that category. Clicking on the image takes you to the edit page for that category.
Category name tells you the name of that category. Clicking on the category name takes you to the edit page for that category.
Subcategories shows you how many subcategories currently exist within that category. Clicking on the number will take you to a page showing you those subcategories.
Products shows you how many products currently exist within that category. Clicking on the number will take you to a page showing you those products.
Sort Order allows you to change the order in which your categories appear on your website. Click the + sign (or the current number if you have already input one) to see a box to add/change the number:

The tick box under Active allows you to deactivate or reactivate a particular category.
Selecting View allows you to see that category’s page on your website.
Selecting Edit allows you to edit the details of the category.
Delete allows you to remove categories. Select the bin icon for the category you want to delete. If you want to delete all of your categories at once select the All button next to ‘Delete’.
