What's new at ShopWired?

• Two new settings have been added to each accounting app to support the export of collected customs & duties, resulting from the Landed Cost Calculator app and any uplifts applied:

• Customs & Duties Account

• Customs & Duties Uplift Account

• These settings appear only when the landed cost calculator app is installed in the ShopWired account

• When an order includes customs & duties (and the customer has paid them), the amounts are exported as separate line items on the invoice:

• The customsAndDuties.amount value is exported to the Customs & Duties Account

• The customsAndDuties.upliftAmount value is exported to the Customs & Duties Uplift Account

• No VAT is applied to these amounts (VAT rate is always 0)

• The updates apply across all supported accounting apps to ensure consistency in handling landed cost calculations

To export customs & duties amounts, select the corresponding accounts in the new Customs & Duties Account and Customs & Duties Uplift Account settings. The amounts will then be allocated to the accounts you have chosen when invoices are exported.
