Landed cost calculator app now supports PDDP
The landed cost calculator app has been updated to support Postal Delivered Duty Paid (PDDP) in addition to the existing Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) method.
- Each delivery rate now includes a Duty prepayment method setting with three options:
No duty prepayment,Delivery rate supports DDP, orDelivery rate supports PDDP - A new app setting allows you to choose how duties are handled for orders without a standard delivery rate (PDDP, DDP, or Neither)
- PDDP uses ShopWired’s internal tariff table to calculate duties based on the product’s country of origin and value
- HS codes and country of origin are still required for all products
- Certain HS codes are automatically exempt from PDDP calculations (for example, antiques, cultural items, and books).
- Order exports and feeds now include a
DDP/PDDPcolumn showing the duty prepayment method used - When viewing orders, the Delivery rate support setting now contains options of
DDP,PDDP, orNo - For PDDP orders, the tariff applied is displayed instead of API request/response logs
- Uplift settings continue to apply to both DDP and PDDP
- No ShopWired fee is charged for PDDP calculations
