What's new at ShopWired?

Following recent changes announced by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), ShopWired will be retiring support for Postal Delivered Duty Paid (PDDP) shipping rates.

We recommend that all merchants currently using PDDP switch their shipping rates to Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) as soon as possible.

To update your delivery rates:

1. Navigate to Checkout > Delivery Rates.
2. Edit each delivery rate currently configured for PDDP.
3. Change the Duty prepayment method from PDDP to DDP.
4. Save your changes.

If you do not make this change yourself, ShopWired will automatically update all delivery rates configured for PDDP to DDP on or before 24 July 2026.

This change follows updates to the U.S. postal customs process which mean the simplified PDDP calculation method is no longer suitable for postal shipments to the United States.
