What's new at ShopWired?

Renewal reminder emails are now available in the Subscriptions app. Notify customers before their subscription renews, with details of the next payment and a secure cancellation link.

Configure reminders for every renewal, at an interval in months or after a set number of renewals. Add up to five notice periods, with additional options for reminders before free trials or introductory prices end and before annual or longer renewals.

Each email includes the subscription items, renewal date and time, next payment amount including delivery and tax, and payment frequency. Customers can use the cancellation link without signing in to an account, then select Confirm cancellation to stop future renewals. Opening the link alone does not cancel the subscription.

Reminders are switched off by default. To enable them, navigate to Apps > Subscriptions, then Payment retries and alerts. First enter a customer-facing email address in Send emails from under Alerts and select Save alert settings. Then enable Send renewal reminder emails, configure the reminders and select Save reminder settings.
