WooCommerce
You can use ShopWired's import systems to migrate data from WooCommerce to ShopWired:
- Migrate category data
- Migrate product data
- Migrate customer data
To perform each of these migrations, you'll need to follow these steps:
- Download an export of the data from WooCommerce
- Modify the data into ShopWired's required format
- Upload the data into ShopWired

Migrating category data
Migrating category data
WooCommerce does not have a native feature for exporting categories. You will therefore need to install and use a plugin to extract your category data into a CSV file:
Once you've selected a plugin:
- Install and activate the plugin
- Navigate to the plugin's export section
- Configure the export settings to export categories
- Download the exported file
Once your category data has been exported, you will need to modify the data to ShopWired's required format.
Migrating product data
Migrating product data
WooCommerce includes a native feature for exporting product data:
- Navigate to your WordPress admin dashboard
- Go to WooCommerce > Products > Export
- Configure the Export Settings:
- Choose the columns you want to export (e.g., name, SKU, price, categories, etc.)
- Apply filters if needed to limit the export to specific products
- Select CSV format
- Select the Generate CSV button
Once your product data has been exported, you will need to modify the data to ShopWired's required format.

WooCommerce does not have a native feature for exporting customers into a CSV file. You will therefore need to install and use a plugin to extract your customer data into a CSV file:
Once you've selected a plugin:
- Install and activate the plugin
- Navigate to the plugin's export section
- Configure the export settings to export customers
- Download the exported file
Once your customer data has been exported, you will need to modify the data to ShopWired's required format.
