App store
ShopWired's app store home page is the home of every app and every WWSW app, together "the apps".
Each app is categorised, one primary category and up to 2 additional categories. For example, the Mailchimp app is in the Email marketing category. App categories have parent categories, for example the Email marketing category has a parent category of Marketing & conversions.

Each app is also given a label:

App pages
App pages on the app store are intended to provide the following information:
- What the app does (what functionality it provides)
- If it's an app involving a third party platform, what functionality that platform provides for
- Both what's available through the app and elsewhere on the platform
- If it's an app involving a third party platform, what information flows between ShopWired and the platform
- Basic information about how to get started with the app
- Any appropriate screenshots
- Basic pricing information
The app page is essentially the app's "advert", showing users the features and benefits of the app.
The app page does not provide help, support or guidance on how to use the app.
App images
The app's icon image must be 600px x 600px and, for third party platforms, show the logo clearly, as on the Mailchimp example.
Additional images must be 1100px x 600px even if the full image does not fit or fill the canvas.
App descriptions
App page descriptions must be in three separate distinct parts:
- Headline
- If applicable, a section about what the third party platform does
- Including features & benefits
- A section about what the app does
- Including features & benefits
- A brief section about how to get started with the app
- Any other useful information that isn't in the app help guide
App descriptions should follow:
- The writing style guide
- Except app descriptions specifically allow for features, benefits and a more 'salesy' approach
- The markdown style guide
- Use terminology defined in the glossary
