eBay shipping settings
eBay shipping settings
If you choose not to use eBay’s policies feature, when listing a product on eBay from ShopWired you can specify shipping rates that are available for the listing from within your ShopWired account. You can specify domestic and international shipping services separately.
Use the Domestic delivery rates section to specify delivery rates for shipping within your country and International delivery rates for shipping internationally. The delivery rates you configure on the eBay app page in ShopWired are known collectively as global eBay delivery rates:
- Use the Delivery rate name setting to give a name to the shipping rate that is only visible to you, and not on the listing in eBay
- Use the Delivery rate service setting to select the courier and service you will use if the customer selects the shipping option
- Use the Price setting to specify the cost the customer will pay when choosing that shipping option
When creating international delivery rates, you can specify which regions of the world they are applicable to.
Once you’ve configured your global eBay delivery rates, you’ll be able to assign them to products on ShopWired, either when creating or editing the product or using the product import/export system.
eBay styles & template
eBay styles & template
Use the eBay styles/template setting if you'd like to specify HTML and CSS to send with the product description when you create listings on eBay from ShopWired products. This setting can be used either to apply some additional styling to product descriptions or to use an eBay listing template.
- The setting accepts HTML and CSS, but any CSS must be surrounded with the
<style type="text/css">...</style>
tags - The setting has access to ShopWired’s product object, so you can use variables like
product.title
to output the name of the product orproduct.description|raw
to output the product description
By default, when creating an eBay listing from a ShopWired product, ShopWired will automatically append the product description at the end of any HTML/CSS configured in the eBay styles/template setting. If you’re using an eBay listing template and have included the product.description
variable within the code, this will be undesirable. To prevent the product description from being appended to the HTML configured, select the setting Exclude the product description from being appended to the bottom of the template.
