Fasthosts/UKreg - DNS instructions
The instructions below are intended as a guide only.
Please make sure that you only have 1 A record for '@' (or blank) and 1 CNAME record for 'www'. If you have an A record for 'www' you should delete it.
Step 1. Login to your Fasthosts/UKReg account and select 'domain names' from the left menu
2. Locate the domain you want to change the DNS for and click the DNS button.
3. Look for an existing A Record where the Host Name is blank. If there is one, click to edit it. If there isn't go to step 5.
4. When editing the A record you should change the Points To value to be 54.247.109.89.
Once you've finished and the record looks like the above click 'save'.
5. Only follow this step if there isn't already an
A Record where the Host Name is blank. Click the 'add A record' button in the A Records section. Enter the values as follows

6. Look for an existing record
CNAME Record and where the Host Name is set to www. If there is one, click to edit it. If there isn't, go to step 8.
7. You should change the Points To value to be ecommercedns.uk.
Once you've finished and the record looks like the above click 'save'.
8. Only follow this step if there isn't already an
CNAME Record for www. Click the 'add CNAME record' button in the CNAME Records section. Enter the values as follows.

Once you've finished and the record looks like the above click 'save'.
The above two records will point your website's DNS records at our servers to show your website at your domain name.
