Order IDs

The order IDs (or order references) on your account will automatically start at ‘1’. The ID numbers for new orders will then increase in consecutive order (meaning the next ID would be ‘2’ then ‘3’ and so on).

However, in your order settings it is possible for you to change the number that the next order will have. In the 'Order Reference' section enter the number that you would like your next order ID to be:

Then select save changes at the bottom of the page.

You cannot enter an order number that is lower than the current number in the field. Your order ID numbers will carry on consecutively from the number you choose. You can change this number at any time.

Please note: you cannot enter a "next reference" setting lower than or equal to an existing order number.


Order emails

Customise order status emails before they are sent to the customer
Enable this setting to allow for previewing and editing of order status emails from within individual orders.

Send order confirmation emails for orders generated from recurring subscription payments
This setting will be available to you if you have the Stripe Subscriptions app installed. Each time a subscription is processed an order will be generated which can be managed in the same way as other orders. By default an order confirmation email will only be sent when the subscription order is initially placed and not each time that it renews. Enable this setting if you would like an order confirmation email to be sent each time the subscription renews.


Orders page columns

Use these settings to determine if these columns should display by default on the 'View Orders' page:

Display the delivery date column?
Select 'Yes' to have the 'Delivery date' column always display.

Display the ships on date column?
Select 'Yes' to have the 'Ships on date' column always display.


Orders page filters

Use the 'Orders Page Filters' section to re-order, rename or delete your saved filter views.

The first six filter views that are listed cannot be re-ordered or deleted. Those filter views are:

  • All Complete Orders
  • Shipped orders
  • Pre-Orders
  • Awaiting Payment orders
  • Incomplete Orders
  • Pending Orders

While you can rename these filter views, renaming them does not change the type of orders that are displayed in the view.

The custom filter views you have saved are then listed.

You can use the compass icon to change the order of the custom filter views, use the bin icon to delete a filter view and enter new content in the box to edit the name of the filter view.

Changing the name of the custom filter view does not change the type of orders that are displayed in the view.


Abandoned basket settings

Use the 'Abandoned Basket Settings' section to configure settings to do with if and when automatic emails should be sent to customers who did not complete their order.
