Trade pricing bands
You can configure pricing for trade customers using the trade pricing bands feature:
- Create a pricing band, a set of trade prices for products
- Assign trade customers to a pricing band, and the product prices configured within the band will be assigned to the trade customer
- Create different pricing bands for different sets of trade customers
To use the feature, you must have the Trade accounts app installed.
The trade pricing bands feature uses product and variation SKU codes to identify products and variations. You must configure SKU codes for any product or variation you want to configure trade pricing for using the feature.
Creating a trade pricing band
To create a trade pricing band:
- Navigate to B2B > Trade pricing bands
- Select
create trade pricing band
- Enter a Trade pricing band name for the trade pricing band
- The name is used to identify the pricing band within your ShopWired; this will not be displayed to your trade account customers

Existing trade pricing bands are displayed on the Trade pricing bands page.
The number of members
column displays the total number of trade customer accounts assigned to the trade pricing band (this includes ).
The product prices set
column displays the total number of products/variations configured (this includes ).

Once you have created a trade pricing band, to configure product and variation prices:
- Select
edit
for the trade pricing band you want to configure prices for - Use the Add a new price section to configure the price for a product
- Use the Product setting to select the product
- Use the Variation setting if the product has variations to select the variation
- When the option has been used to configure variations, you won't be able to select individual variation combinations
- If the product does not have variations, the variation setting will appear as
not applicable
- Select
create
to add the product price to the trade pricing band
Existing product and variation prices for a trade pricing band are displayed in a table where you can edit a price or select the delete
option to remove it from the band.

An import/export system is available for trade pricing bands which you can use to:
- Configure product/variation prices for a trade pricing band
- Export existing product/variation prices for a trade pricing band
- Edit and remove product/variation prices within a trade pricing band
The import spreadsheet has the following structure:
- Use the
SKU
column to enter the SKU code of the product/variation - Use the
Pricing Band ID
column to enter the ID of the trade pricing band - To obtain the trade pricing band ID, navigate to the trade pricing band and look at the URL in your browser’s address bar. The URL will be in the format
/business/manage-ecommerce-trade-group/1016
where the final number is the ID - Use the
Price
column to enter the applicable price for the product/variation within the pricing band
Example spreadsheet layout:

- Navigate to B2B > Trade Pricing Bands

for the pricing band you're uploading prices for - Select
import product prices
- Select the file from your device's hard drive
- Select

- Navigate to B2B > Trade Pricing Bands
- Select
export product prices
- This option will only appear if at least one price is already configured
- Select
prepare your export
- Wait for the export to generate and then select
download your export

You can assign a trade customer to a pricing band when creating or editing a trade customer account:
- Navigate to the trade customer account from the trade customers page
- Navigate to the Pricing section
- Use the Trade pricing band setting to select the trade pricing band
The trade pricing band assigned to trade customers can be configured using the trade customer import/export system using the column TRADE PRICING BAND

Leave the cell blank not to assign a trade pricing band or to remove an existing assignment.

To automatically assign a trade pricing band to new trade customer accounts:
- Navigate to B2B > Trade settings
- Select the trade pricing band from the Select a default trade pricing band for new trade customer accounts setting
Any new trade customer account, once will be automatically assigned to the designated default trade pricing band.
