Newsletter subscribers
A visitor to your website can become a newsletter subscriber in one of the following ways:
- By completing the on your website
- By creating a customer account or applying for a trade account and to receive marketing communications
- By creating an order and agreeing to receive marketing communications
You can also create newsletter subscribers by:
- Creating a customer account or trade account through your ShopWired account and selecting that the customer agrees to receive marketing communications
- Creating an order through your ShopWired account and selecting that the customer agrees to receive marketing communications
Viewing and managing newsletter subscribers
To view and manage your newsletter subscribers:
- Navigate to Marketing > Newsletter subscribers
- All newsletter subscribers are listed in a table:
- Date displays the date and time the subscriber record was created
- Name displays the customer's name
- Not available for subscriber records created through your website's newsletter subscriber form
- When the subscriber record is created from an order, the billing name is used
- Email address displays the customer's email address
- When the subscriber record is created from an order, the billing email address is used
- Type displays how the newsletter subscriber record was created
Not registeredmeans the subscriber placed an order without creating a customer accountNewslettermeans the subscriber signed up using the newsletter formRegisteredmeans the subscriber record was created from a customer account or trade account
- You can use the search box to search for subscribers and filter by type using the view selection
You can use the download all option to download all newsletter subscribers into a CSV file (which can then be uploaded to an email marketing platform such as Mailchimp, Klaviyo, or Mailerlite).
You can use the download recent option to download subscribers since your last download (the date/time of the last download is displayed on the page)

Deleting subscriber records
To delete a newsletter subscriber, use the delete option. This will not delete any associated customer account or order details. Deleting subscribers is irreversible, and deleted subscribers cannot be recovered.

ShopWired integrates with three separate email marketing platforms, and you can connect your ShopWired account to one of these platforms to automatically populate the platform with new newsletter subscribers.
