Privy is a marketing platform for capturing email and SMS subscribers and sending campaigns from ecommerce websites.

Privy integrates with ShopWired by adding Privy’s tracking and widget to your theme so displays and tracking can load on your website.
Account creation
Create an account at Privy.
After your account is created, Privy provides a JavaScript tracking and widget script inside your account settings. This script is required to connect Privy to your ShopWired website.
Theme installation
To connect Privy to your ShopWired website Privy provides a script similar to the example below:

The script shown above is provided as an example only. You must copy the exact script provided in your own Privy account, as the script and account identifier will be unique to your website.
- Navigate to Website > Themes
- Select the
code editoroption for your active theme - Open the
master.twigfile - Paste the Privy script immediately before the closing
</head>tag - Select Save changes
Once the script is installed, Privy displays and popups will load automatically on pages where they are configured inside your Privy account.
Recommendations
- Install the script on your live theme only after testing on a draft theme
- Review display targeting rules within Privy to ensure popups appear only where required
