ShopWired's referral system
Every ShopWired account holder can use the ShopWired referrals programme to earn commission for referring new customers.
- If someone uses your referral link to sign up for a ShopWired account, you will earn commission each time that referred customer makes a subscription payment to ShopWired
- Commission payments are earned for the lifetime of the referred ShopWired account
- ShopWired pays a commission of 15% on the net value (without VAT/tax) of the subscription payments made
- Referral commission payments are not made for app charges or one-off charges paid by customers you refer
- ShopWired's referrals programme is governed by the partner terms and conditions

To refer a new customer to ShopWired, you'll need to give them your ShopWired referral link.
- Navigate to Your account (top right) > Referrals
- Select the
copy your unique URLoption or copy the displayed URL, e.g.https://www.shopwired.co.uk/?affiliate=123456 - Provide the link to the customer you want to refer
When a visitor to the ShopWired website uses your referral link, a cookie will be placed on their computer to track their behaviour on our website. As soon as they sign up for an account, the cookie will be activated, and a record will be made on your ShopWired account that you referred them.
Email notifications are not sent when customers create free trial accounts or sign up for paid accounts.

ShopWired pays a 15% commission on all monthly fees that referred customers pay.
On your ShopWired account’s referrals page you can see a statement of activity showing:
- Your total referral earnings which includes any commission that has already been paid out to you
- The number of accounts you've referred which includes free trials who are yet to subscribe to a ShopWired package
- Your current balance which is the commission balance of your account not yet paid out
- Your previous month's earnings which is the total commission payments you earned last month
Each time your account is credited with referral commission resulting from the renewal of a subscription payment, an entry will appear in the Referral earnings statement table. An entry will also appear when commission is paid out to you.

ShopWired does not automatically pay out referral commission. Instead, you need to request a payout.
ShopWired pays out commission using PayPal. To request a payout:
- Navigate to Your account (top right) > Referrals
- Ensure you have entered your PayPal account email address in the Your PayPal account email address setting
- Select the
request a remittance of your referral balanceoption- This option will only appear if your referral balance is £25 or more
- You will receive an email confirmation from PayPal once your balance has been paid out
