Linnworks
Linnworks is a multi-channel management software which allows you to link your accounts for different marketplaces in order to manage your inventory and orders from one central location.
ShopWired’s Linnworks app allows you to connect your ShopWired account to your Linnworks account to:
- Sync stock levels from Linnworks to ShopWired
- Export orders from ShopWired to Linnworks
To install this app:
Once the app is installed, configure your Linnworks settings by navigating to Apps > Manage > Linnworks.

Once you’ve installed the app you will need to connect ShopWired and Linnworks.
Installing the ShopWired app in Linnworks
- Within your Linnworks account select Apps > Application Store from the left menu
- In the search field enter

Creating a channel integration
Once you’ve installed ShopWired’s app within Linnworks, configure a channel integration within your Linnworks account.
- Select Settings > Channel Integration from the left menu
- On the
Channel Integrationspage select+ Add Newin the top right corner - In the search box enter
ShopWired - When the ShopWired channel appears select
Install Application - Enter an account name for the channel
- This name can be anything you want, but you will probably find it most helpful to name it

- Enter your ShopWired account
- Enter your security token:
- To locate your security token, in ShopWired navigate to Apps > Manage > Linnworks
- In the Settings section, select
Viewunder Security Token to make your token visible - Copy the token to your computer's clipboard

The integration will then connect to your ShopWired account (this process can take a couple of minutes). Once complete, a success message will appear. Select Finish to close the window.
On the Linnworks app page within ShopWired, if the Settings section displays a Not Connected message, refresh the page to check that the status has changed to Connected.
Stock syncing

To sync stock from your Linnworks account to your ShopWired account:
- Create a product with identical SKU codes in both your Linnworks and ShopWired accounts
- Link the products within Linnworks by mapping them (a process described below)
- Select to sync SKUs within ShopWired
You mut complete this process every time you create new products within ShopWired and Linnworks.
Mapping products
To map products:
- Within Linnworks, navigate to Settings > Channel Integration
- Access the ShopWired channel integration
- Select the channel mapping symbol
- A list of ShopWired products will be displayed
- Products with matching SKU codes will appear with a yellow box
- Products created recently may not appear immediately
Forcing Linnworks to retrive products
For products not appearing that have been created recently, you can force Linnworks to retrieve them:
- Within Linnworks, navigate to Settings > Channel Integration
- Select to edit the ShopWired channel integration
- Navigate to the *Listings section
- Select

Mapping products individually
To map products one at a time:
- Double click on the product you want to link from the first column
- The product will move to the second column
- Select the
linkoption: - The product will then be linked

To map multiple products at the same time
- Select the
gearicon at the top of the table - Select
Link all by > SKU - A pop-up window will then tell you how many of your products have been linked
Syncing SKUs within ShopWired
Once you have linked your products in Linnworks, return to the Linnworks app within ShopWired by navigating to Apps > Manage > Linnworks:
- In the Stock Sync section select
Sync SKUs - Allow the app to sync SKUs
- Once the sync is finished you will see a completion message
To download a CSV file of all synced SKU codes select Download synced SKUs.
Stock sync behaviour
Once you have mapped your products:
- Stock quantities will update on ShopWired when you make stock adjustments on Linnworks
- Stock updates can take up to 15 minutes to reach your ShopWired account from the time you made the adjustment on Linnworks
CAUTION Selecting Sync SKUs within the Linnworks appdoes not initiate a stock sync.
'Max listed' setting within Linnworks
'Max listed' setting within Linnworks
For each channel integration that you create within Linnworks, a Max listed setting is configured which determines the maximum amount of stock that will be published to that channel.
For example, if the Max listed setting for ShopWired is set to 30, and your overall stock for a product is 40, the maximum amount of stock that will be allocated to the SKU code on ShopWired will be 30. Read more about the Max Listed setting on Linnworks

Order exporting
Once SKU mapping has been completed, when you receive an order on ShopWired that contains a product that has a matching SKU on Linnworks, the order will be exported from ShopWired to Linnworks.
Within the Linnworks app configuration page within ShopWired, you must configure your target dispatch time frame:
- Navigate to the Settings section
- For the setting Aim to dispatch orders within, enter the number of days that you aim to dispatch orders within from the day they are received
- You must set a value in this setting to export orders to Linnworks
- The default value for this setting is

Notes about order exporting:
- Orders can take up to 15 minutes to appear on Linnworks from the time the order was received on ShopWired
- Orders received in your ShopWired account which only contain products that have not been linked in your Linnworks account will not be exported to Linnworks
- Once an order has been exported to Linnworks, any changes that you make to that order from within your Linnworks account (e.g. status changes or refunds) will not be synced to ShopWired
