Troubleshooting product imports
My product import appears to be stuck
If the progress of your product import hasn’t changed for more than one hour, please contact support.
I've made a mistake with my import, can you reverse it?
ShopWired does not take individual backups of product data for each ShopWired account and make these available to you. You should use the backup that you made when you exported your product data. If you did not take a backup, ShopWired offers a paid service to restore product data from its own backups. To use this service, please contact support.
I've made a mistake with my import, can I delete all the new products?
You can delete all products on your ShopWired account by navigating to Your account (top right) > Delete data. Using this feature removes all products from your ShopWired account, so it should be used with caution.
If you have products on your ShopWired account that you don’t want to delete, then you’ll need to delete the newly created products from the Products page in your ShopWired account.
My product images aren't uploading
Product images can take some time to be downloaded from the server they are hosted on and copied to ShopWired's server.
This process can take a long time if your import contains a lot of products. Make sure at least one hour has elapsed since uploading your import file before troubleshooting.
To troubleshoot the issue:
- Check that the URL for each image can be accessed online by visiting it in your browser - the URL should not redirect to another URL (including if you have specified
http
in the URL but the URL ishttps
) - Check that the image is either a JPG, PNG or GIF file; you cannot import WebP images or any other next-generation image format into ShopWired
- Ensure that image URLs do not contain
- Ensure that the image file is not more than 6000px in height, 6000px in width, or 4MB in size
- Ensure that the host of the image is not blocking ShopWired

Is there a limit on the number of products an import can contain?
ShopWired does not impose a limit on the number of products you can include in an import file.
However, it is advisable that a single import file does not contain more than 25,000 products.
