Importing/exporting stock in bulk
The stock import/export system can be used to download or edit the stock quantities for each SKU on your ShopWired account. It cannot be used to create new SKU codes or products/product variations.

To export the stock quantities for all your SKUs:
- Navigate to Products > Stock
- Select
export - Select
prepare your export - Wait while the export file is generated
- Select
download your export
A CSV file will download to your device containing 2 columns, SKU and Quantity. An additional column Alert will be included in the CSV file if you're using the Stock alerts app.

To update the quantities for your SKUs in bulk:
- Take an export of your current stock levels by following the instructions above
- Open the CSV file in spreadsheet editing software such as Excel or Google Sheets
- Adjust the quantities for your SKUs and save the file as a CSV file
- On the stock management page, select
import - Select the CSV file from your device and select
import - Wait whilst the import processes
Unique SKU codes
Unique SKU codes
The stock import system uses SKU codes as an identifier. If you use the same SKU code for more than one product/variation, your import file may not process properly.
It is strongly recommended to use unique SKUs for each product/variation.
