OneID
OneID is one of the UK's leading age verification platforms providing a quick and simple way for your website's visitors to verify their age enabling you to sell age restricted products with confidence.
ShopWired's OneID app enables you to connect your ShopWired account with OneID's age verification platform easily.
To install the app:
- Navigate to Apps
- Locate the OneID app

Features
ShopWired's OneID app uses OneID's age verification solution:
- When creating or editing a product, you can mark a product as age restricted
- At checkout, if a visitor's basket contains at least one age restricted product they'll be prompted to verify their age at checkout
- Visitors who are logged into a customer account on your website and have previously verified their age will not be reprompted
- You can select the always verify option on the app settings page to always require age verification with each purchase
- Visitors who select will always be propted to verify their age
- You can view, and modify, the age verification status of a customer and the date age verification was performed
- You can view, and modify, the age verification status of a customer on an order

Visitors are prompted to verify their age as the first step during your website's checkout. Age verification is quick and simple process that can be completed on the visitor's mobile device (by scanning a QR code) or on the device the visitor is using to checkout.
App settings
App settings
You must configure your settings for the OneID app within your ShopWired account by navigating to the app page from within ShopWired Apps > Installed > OneID > About
OneID client ID
Enter the OneID client ID provided to you by OneID.
OneID client secret
Enter the OneID client secret provided to you by OneID
Always verify
Select always verify to require visitors to always perform age verification, irrespective of whether they have previously done so.
Live mode
Select live mode to use the app and OneID in live mode. Deselect this option to use OneID in test mode only.
Redirect URI
You must provide OneID with a redirect URI for the integration, the redirect URI is https://www.domain.com/checkout/age-verification (replacing domain.com with your own domain name).

ShopWired's OneID app uses the custom fields app to store age verification data on customer records and orders.
When the OneID app is installed, it will automatically create 3 customer custom fields.
OneID age verification date
This setting records the date that the customer last completed age verification through OneID.
OneID age verification time
This setting records the time that the customer last completed age verification through OneID.
OneID age verified
This setting records that the customer's account has been verified through OneID.
Order custom fields

When the OneID app is installed, it will automatically create 3 order custom fields.
OneID age verification date
- If the order was created by a , this setting records the date that the customer last completed age verification through OneID
- If the order was created through , this setting records the date that the customer completed age verification through OneID (which will usually be the same date as the order, except in the case of abandoned baskets)
OneID age verification time
- If the order was created by a , this setting records the time that the customer last completed age verification through OneID
- If the order was created through , this setting records the time that the customer completed age verification through OneID (which will usually be the same date as the order, except in the case of abandoned baskets) This setting records the time that the customer last completed age verification through OneID.
OneID age verified
- This setting records that the customer's age was verified through OneID when the order was created (irrespective of the checkout method).

When the OneID app is installed, it will automatically create 1 product custom fields.
Age verification required
- This setting determines whether or not a website visitor is prompted to complete age verification during checkout
- If the visitor's basket contains at least one product that has been marked as requiring age verification the website visitor will be prompted to complete age verification during checkout
You can use the custom field on your website to display a notice or warning on individual products (on category/search pages, the product page and the basket page) that age verification is required for the product using the product.custom_fields.age_verification_required.
