For ShopWired users in the United Kingdom, we recommend using ShopWired Payments as your payment gateway. You can set up an account within just a few minutes. There is no account opening fee, no monthly fees, and you only pay for the transactions you process.
Besides ShopWired Payments, ShopWired is integrated with over 30 payment gateways that you can activate within your ShopWired account to accept payments from your customers. ShopWired does not charge for using any other payment gateway.
All payment gateway integrations available on ShopWired support and are compliant with the regulations.

- Navigate to Checkout > Accepting payments
- Locate the Other payment gateways section.
- Select the
add a new gatewayoption. - Select the payment gateway you'd like to activate from the available setting.
- Select the
add this gatewayoption.
The new payment gateway you've activated will be displayed on the page as a new section for you to add your payment gateway account credentials to and configure any other additional settings.
You can activate as many payment gateways as you like; ShopWired does not impose a limit on the number of payment gateway options you provide for your customers.

ShopWired offers 3 types of integration models for payment gateways:
- Hosted integrations where your customers are transferred to the payment gateway provider's website to enter their card information.
- Direct integrations where your customers are kept on your website to enter their card information.
- Express integrations where your customers can select the payment gateway from your website's shopping basket page.
Express integrations offer a method for customers to select from a saved address in the payment gateway account instead of entering their address information into your website. Examples of express integrations include PayPal and Amazon Pay.
