The SEO settings page

If you've been provided with a verification meta tag from a service such as Google Search Console, Bing Webmaster Tools, or Pinterest, you can enter this into the SEO settings page.

When entering the meta tag, ensure you enter the full tag provided by the service, e.g.

Each verification meta tag is labelled separately on the SEO settings page in the Global SEO meta tags section:

• Google Search Console verification meta tag
• Bing Webmaster Tools verification meta tag
• Custom meta tags

If you need to enter more than three verification meta tags, you can enter more than one into the same field, e.g.

For most of the pages on your website, you can configure the title tag and meta description tag when editing that specific page. You can configure the title and meta description tags for the following pages when editing those pages within your ShopWired account:

• Categories
• Brands
• Products
• Website text/information pages
• Blog posts
• Media pages
• Landing pages

For all other pages, you can configure the title, meta description and keywords tags from the SEO tags page.

Navigate to the Standard page meta tags section on the page and select the edit option for the page you'd like to configure the tags for.

ShopWired imposes a character limit on each of the fields available:

• Meta title maximum of 100 characters
• Meta keywords maximum of 400 characters
• Meta description maximum of 400 characters

Changes made to the SEO tags of your website pages are reflected instantly on your website, but it may take some time for the change to be reflected on search engines.
