Order settings

Each order on ShopWired is given an order reference, which is a sequential, unique reference for the order in your account. Order references are distinct from the ShopWired order ID.

By default, order references commence at 1 and increase in consecutive order.

You can change the reference assigned to your next complete order using the Next order reference setting; this cannot be lower than the value currently configured in this setting.

When sending order status emails to your customers, you can choose to edit the contents of the email before it is sent to the customer. To enable this functionality, select the setting Customise order status emails before they are sent to the customer.

When this setting is activated, when viewing an order and sending an order status email, you will be able to edit the contents of the order status email before it is sent.

If you are using the subscription app, the Send an order confirmation email each time a subscription renews setting will enable the order confirmation email to be sent each time a subscription renews.

If this setting is disabled, an order confirmation email will only be sent when the subscription is first created, and subsequent automatic renewals will not generate an email.

Use the setting Display a delivery date column to display the customer's selected delivery date on the view-orders page in your ShopWired account.

When using the pre-order app, use the setting Display a ships on date column to display the ships on date for pre-order products in the order. Where an order contains more than one pre-order product, the ships on date displayed will be the date furthest into the future.

The Orders table filters section displays a list of the order filters. It contains both the predefined filters, which cannot be deleted, and any custom filters you have created.

You can edit the names of any filter here by configuring a new name in the setting, and re-order and remove custom filters you have created.

The predefined filters are:

• All complete orders which contains all complete orders
• Shipped orders which contains all orders that you have assigned an order status of shipped to
• Pre-orders which contains all orders for pre-order products
• Awaiting payment orders which contains all complete orders that are awaiting payment
• Incomplete orders which contains all incomplete orders
• Pending orders which contains all pending orders
