User accounts
You can use the User accounts app to grant your team members and third parties (such as marketing consultants) access to your ShopWired account. The app allows each user to have their own separate ShopWired login (with an email address and password) and allows you to limit access to the areas of your ShopWired account that they need access to.
To create user accounts:
- Navigate to Apps
- Locate the User accounts app
- Select
install this app
Once the app is installed, you can create and manage user accounts.
Creating user accounts
Creating user accounts
- Navigate to Your account > User accounts
- Select
add a new user account
- Enter the account holder's name into the User account name setting
- Enter their email address in the Email address setting
- Users will use this email address to log in
- Configure an initial password for the user in the Password setting
- Do not use a secure password here
- The user account should be encouraged to change their password to something unique, that only they know, when they log in for the first time
- Use the Account access settings to determine which areas of your ShopWired account the user should have access to
- Select
add user account
Once you create a user account, the User account creation email will be sent to the user containing details of how to log in to their account. The contents of this email can be customised.
Managing user accounts
Managing user accounts
User accounts you have created will be displayed in a table on the User accounts page.
You can deactivate a user account by de-selecting the active
option for their account.
This will both log out the user account (if they're currently logged in) and prevent them from logging in again.
User account limitations
User account limitations
