Order of consumption
Order of consumption
When products in a visitor's basket are affected by an offer, ShopWired refers to the product as having been consumed by the offer.
Where there are many products in the basket that can be consumed by an offer, the The order that products in a basket should be consumed by the offer setting determines the order in which ShopWired selects which products in the basket to apply the offer to.
By price (lowest first)
means that products will be consumed starting with the lowest priced product firstBy price (highest first)
means that products will be consumed starting with the highest priced product first
Product count
Product count
The Product count setting determines how many products the visitor must have in the basket in total to qualify for the offer.
Which products and how many of each must be purchased are defined in the Offer targets section. The Product count setting simply determines the total number of qualifying products the visitor must have in the basket to qualify for the offer.
Enter a whole number only in this field; you cannot enter a range here.
Offer targets
Offer targets
Offer targets are the products that the visitor must add to their basket to qualify for the offer.
For each offer target you configure, you must select:
- The Target, which is either a specific product, category of products, or brand of products
- The Minimum quantity, which is the minimum quantity of the target the visitor must add to the basket to qualify for the offer
- If the target does not have to be in the basket to qualify for the offer, configure a value of
0
- The Maximum quantity, which is the maximum quantity of the target the offer can apply to
- If the visitor has more than the maximum quantity of the target in the basket, the basket may still qualify for the offer, but not all the quantity in the basket will be affected by the offer
Some example offers and the target settings are included later in this help guide.
