Cost price multiplier pricing
You can configure pricing for trade customers using the cost price multiplier feature.
When using a cost price multiplier, ShopWired will multiply the added for a product, product variation, product choice, or product extra by the multiplier that you configure for the trade customer, for example:
- Product cost price
5.35
- Trade customer's multiplier
1.13
- Trade customer's price
5.35 x 1.13 = 6.05
To use the feature:
- You must have the Trade accounts app installed
- You must have the Gross profit report app installed
- You must have for products
- You must set a cost price multiplier for each trade customer
Configuring a cost price multiplier
The cost price multiplier for a trade customer can be configured when creating or editing the trade account within ShopWired:
- Navigate to B2B > Customers
- Locate the Pricing section
- For the Trade discount granted setting select
a multiplier of product cost price
- Configure the multiplier using the Configure the cost price multiplier setting
- Multipliers are expressed as decimal numbers, for example,
1.13
to represent a 13% increase over the cost price - A value greater than 1 will configure a surcharge for the trade customer on the cost price
- A value less than 1 will configure an effective discount for the trade customer on the cost price

The cost price multiplier for trade customers can be configured using the trade customer import/export system using the column COST PRICE MULTIPLIER
