Searching and filtering orders
You can use the search and filter options on the Orders page to refine the orders displayed in the orders table.
On page filters
- Search by order reference, customer surname, company name, email address, or postcode
- Search by
- When searching by ShopWired order ID, only exact matches are returned
- Filter by product name, SKU code, or brand
- Filter by order date (entering a From and To date range)
- Orders are either
active
orarchived
, and you can select to view only orders of a particular order state using the option available in the table
Additional filters
Select the more filters
option to access more filters. Filters are split into 4 separate groups (that appear as tabs).
- Basic filters allow you to filter by:
- The orders' billing country
- The orders' delivery country
- The orders' payment method
- The orders' order status
- Delivery date filters allow you to filter by the customer's requested delivery date:
- Select
delivery date range
to specify a Delivery date from and Delivery date to range - Only orders with a requested delivery date within the range will be returned
- Select
delivery date within x days
to specify a Number of days value - Only orders that are the specified number of days after "today" will be returned
- When saving this filter using the
save current filters
option, "today" automatically resets each day to today's date - Select
delivery date not specified
to return all orders that don't have a delivery date specified
- Select
- Pre-order date filters allow you to filter by a :
- Specify a Ships on date from and Ships on date to range
- Only orders with a product within the selected range will be returned
- This filter is only available when using the pre-orders app
- Custom fields filters allow you to filter orders by values in order custom fields
- Only order custom fields are available as filters (other types of custom fields are not available)
- Only orders with a selected value for the order custom field will be returned
Saving filters
When you've conducted a search and arranged your filters, you can save this for use later using the save filters functionality:
- Ensure your search and filter parameters are correct
- Select the
save current filters
option - Enter a Title for the saved filter
Access your saved filters in the more filters
option.
Pre-defined filters
Pre-defined filters
ShopWired also has pre-defined filters that are already configured in your ShopWired account (and cannot be deleted):
All complete orders
means all orders that have been successfully completed, i.e. where a visitor to your website has:- Paid for an order
- Completed the order using the offline payment method
- You have created the order through your ShopWired account
- The order was created using ShopWired's API
Unpaid orders
means orders where a visitor submitted the order but did not make payment or there was an error- Unpaid orders are also known as incomplete orders
Pending orders
where the status of the visitor's payment is uncertain- Read more about pending orders
Subscription orders
means all orders that have resulted from a subscription- Includes both the initial subscription order and orders resulting from a renewal of the subscription
Additional filters
Additional filters are available by selecting the more filters
option:
Shipped
means all orders that have an order status corresponding to the of shippedPre-orders
means all orders that are in aAwaiting payment
means all completed orders either where:- The customer submitted the order through the offline payment method or,
- You created the order through your ShopWired account and selected it as
not paid
You can change the name of these pre-defined filters on the order settings page.
