Product sort orders

1. Navigate to Products > Settings
2. Navigate to the Product sort order section
3. Use the Product default sort order setting to select the default sort order
   • Select manual to set a custom sort order
4. When selecting manual, select an option for the Manual / custom sort order setting
   • Select select a manual sort order once, applicable to all categories and brands to select one sort order for products that is applied across your website
   • Select select a manual sort order for each category and brand individually to select a sort order for each product for each category and brand page

2. Locate the product in the table
3. Use the Sort order column and select the existing sort order (or the + icon)
4. Configure the new sort order and click out of the setting
   • The new sort order will be automatically saved when you click outside the setting

You can set sort orders on products using the product import/export system using the Sort Order column. Only enter numbers in this field.

Leave the cell blank to not set a sort order.

When you select to set a sort order for products individually for each category and brand, the sort orders are configured using an import system by uploading a CSV file containing 4 columns Product ID, Item Type, Item ID, Sort Order.

• In the Product ID column, enter the unique ID of the product (which you can obtain by downloading an export of your products)
• In the Item Type column, enter either Category or Brand depending on the type of page you are setting a sort order for
• In the Item ID column, enter the ID of the category or brand that you are setting a sort order for
• You can obtain your category IDs by downloading a category export
• You can obtain your brand IDs by navigating to the brand within the admin system and obtaining the ID from the end of the URL
• In the Sort Order column, enter the sort order number of the product

Once you have prepared your spreadsheet file, save it as a CSV file.

1. Navigate to Products > Settings
2. Locate the Product sort order import/export section
3. Select and upload the CSV from your device's hard drive
4. Select import

Use the Product sort order import/export section on the Product settings page to download a CSV file containing all of your existing configured sort orders.

The import system can be used to update existing sort orders or to delete sort orders. To delete a sort order for a particular product and category/brand, enter [delete] into the Sort Order column, e.g.
