Warehouse notes
ShopWired's warehouse notes feature allows you to enter notes onto products for internal use. Warehouse notes are not displayed on your website or to your customers.
Install the app:
- Navigate to Apps
- Locate the Warehouse notes app
- Select
install this app
Once you've installed the app, you'll be able to add warehouse notes to your products.

To add warehouse notes:
- When creating or editing a product, navigate to the Stock & delivery management section
- In the Warehouse notes setting, enter any notes you want to make

Warehouse notes are displayed:
- When exporting multiple orders from the view-orders page
- When viewing the order PDF
- If they are not visible, you may need to add the variable
product.warehouse_notesto the code of your PDF theme - but the latest version of ShopWired’s PDF themes have this already configured - The order CSV feed
- In the product stock report
- In the picking list report
- Warehouse notes can be configured to appear in the Order XML feed by using the variable
product.warehouse_notes
By default, warehouse notes are not displayed on the items below but can be added using the product.warehouse_notes variable:
- On order confirmation emails
- On order status change emails
- Your ShopWired website
Warehouse notes are not displayed:
- When exporting an individual CSV file for the order
