ChannelGrabber
ChannelGrabber is a multi-channel management platform that allows businesses to link their accounts across different platforms and marketplaces (e.g. eBay, Amazon) and manage inventory and orders from one centralised platform.
ShopWired's ChannelGrabber app allows you to connect your ShopWired account to your ChannelGrabber account to:
- Sync stock levels from ChannelGrabber to ShopWired
- Export orders from ShopWired to ChannelGrabber
- Intelligent customer matching for accurate order syncing
- Automatically mark orders as dispatched on ShopWired when updated on ChannelGrabber
- View synced products and manage order export errors
To install this app:
- Navigate to Apps
- Locate the ChannelGrabber
- Select
install this app
Once the app is installed, configure your ChannelGrabber settings by navigating to Apps > Manage > ChannelGrabber.
Connecting ShopWired and ChannelGrabber
Connecting ShopWired and ChannelGrabber
Once you've installed the ChannelGrabber app, to connect ShopWired and ChannelGrabber:
- Log in to your ChannelGrabber account
- Navigate to the API keys page (Settings > API)
- Locate the API key and API secret in the API credentials section
- Navigate to Apps > Manage > ChannelGrabber
- Copy and paste the API credentials from your ChannelGrabber account into the ChannelGrabber app on ShopWired
- Select
connect
Once the connection has been established, a confirmation message will be displayed and additional settings for the app will be available.
Stock sync
Stock sync
ShopWired automatically syncs stock levels between ChannelGrabber and ShopWired:
- Stock is synced for products or product variations where the SKU code of a product or product variation exactly matches between the two platforms
- Stock is synced from ChannelGrabber to ShopWired
- Changes to stock levels on ShopWired, except as a result of successfully exported orders, are not synced from ShopWired to ChannelGrabber
To enable stock syncing, in the App settings section of the ChannelGrabber app in ShopWired, select yes
for the Sync stock from ChannelGrabber setting.
When you first connect the app to your ChannelGrabber account:
- Select the
sync now
option in the Initial stock sync section of the ShopWired app - Wait while the sync is completed (this may take some time if you have a lot of SKU codes)
The app will establish a connection between products and product variations on ShopWired and ChannelGrabber where the SKU codes match. Once the sync has been completed, select get stock synced items
to download a CSV report containing a list of the SKU codes that are synced between the two platforms.
Creating new products
Creating new products
When you create a new product or product variation, you should create it first on ChannelGrabber before creating it in your ShopWired account. If you create the new product on ChannelGrabber first, a connection will be established automatically between the product or product variation on the two platforms and stock will sync automatically.
If you create a new product or product variation on ShopWired first, before creating it on ChannelGrabber, you will need to manually establish a connection for the SKU code on the two platforms by selecting the sync stock
option in the ChannelGrabber app.
Exporting orders
Exporting orders
ShopWired's ChannelGrabber app can automatically export orders received on your ShopWired website or created through your ShopWired account (including orders created through ShopWired's API):
- Orders are exported to ChannelGrabber where the order contains at least one product or product variation where the SKU code exactly matches
- Orders not containing products or product variations matching SKU codes are not exported
- Where an order contains a mixture of products, with and without matching SKU codes, the exported order only contains the matching SKU codes
To manage your settings for exporting orders to ChannelGrabber, navigate to Apps > Manage > ChannelGrabber.
Export orders to ChannelGrabber

for the Export orders to ChannelGrabber to enable order exports from ShopWired to ChannelGrabber.
Sync dispatched order status from ChannelGrabber
Select yes
for the Sync dispatched order status from ChannelGrabber setting to automatically mark an order on ShopWired with the order status corresponding to the shipped when the order is marked as dispatched on ChannelGrabber. If you have entered a tracking number on the order on ChannelGrabber, it will be imported into the Tracking URL setting on ShopWired when the order is marked as dispatched.
Sales channel name
Enter the name of the Sales channel on ChannelGrabber that exported orders should be assigned to.

Unpaid orders
When you receive a completed order on ShopWired that is unpaid (either through the offline payment method or when creating an order through your ShopWired account and selecting it as unpaid
), it will be exported to ChannelGrabber with the status of awaiting payment
.
A limitation on ChannelGrabber means that you cannot configure these orders to be paid from within your ChannelGrabber account. Instead, change the status of the unpaid order on ShopWired to paid
and the payment date and time will be automatically exported to ChannelGrabber, and the order status set to new
.
Order export errors
Order export errors
Orders that ShopWired has attempted to export to ChannelGrabber where the export has failed will appear in the Order export errors section of the ChannelGrabber app.
For each order that fails to export, the app will display:
- The order reference
- The date the order was created
- The shipping name on the order
- The details of the error
When an order fails to export, you can attempt to fix the reason for the failure (for example, by editing the order within your ShopWired account) and selecting retry auto-export
, or by manually creating the order within your ChannelGrabber account.
