Specific delivery prices
ShopWired's specific delivery pricing feature allows you to set delivery prices individually for products or set the product to have free delivery.
Where a product has a specific delivery price (or free delivery) and is added to the basket, the visitor does not need to select a delivery rate for the product:
- Where a visitor's basket only contains products with specific delivery prices, they will never be asked to select a delivery rate
- Where a visitor's basket contains a mix of products, some with specific delivery prices and some without, the visitor will need to select a delivery rate
- When determining which delivery rates to show to the visitor, ShopWired excludes any products with a specific delivery price
The type of specific delivery prices you can configure for products depends on your checkout settings:
- Where your visitors are asked to select a delivery rate before entering their address, known as the
shipping on basketconfiguration, you can configure one specific delivery price that applies to all delivery countries/zones - Where your visitors are asked to select a delivery rate after entering their address, known as the
shipping on checkoutconfiguration, you can configure a specific delivery price separately for each delivery country/zone

Setting a specific delivery price for all delivery countries/zones

If your checkout uses the shipping on basket configuration, you can configure a single specific delivery price that applies to all delivery countries/zones.
To do so, when creating or editing the product:
- Locate the Stock and delivery management section
- Select the Delivery tab
- Enter the price into the Specific delivery price setting
- Use the
freeoption to mark the product as having free delivery
- Use the
Charging for multiple orders of the same product
Once you've configured a specific delivery price, an additional setting will be displayed labelled Do not charge for multiple orders of the same product:
- When visitors add multiple quantities of the product to the basket, selecting
yesfor this setting will mean they are only charged the specific delivery price once (irrespective of the quantity of the product) - This setting also applies when adding different variations of the same product

If your checkout uses the shipping on checkout configuration, you can configure specific delivery prices for each delivery country/zone separately.
To do so, when creating or editing the product:
- Locate the Stock and delivery management section
- Select the Delivery tab
- Select
yesfor the Set specific delivery pricing for this product setting - Configure the delivery pricing for each delivery zone:
- Use the
all delivery zonesoption as a catch-all for any delivery country that you haven't configured separately
- Use the

You can configure specific delivery prices for products using the product import/export system.
Shipping on basket
When using the shipping on basket configuration, two columns are available within the product import template:
Delivery Price
Where you can set the delivery price, e.g. enter 1.00 (for £1.00) or Free for free delivery
Single Delivery Cost?
Where you enter 1 for the specific delivery price not to be charged multiple times (irrespective of the quantity added to the basket) or 0 for the specific delivery price to be charged separately for each quantity added to the basket
Shipping on checkout
When using the shipping on checkout configuration, three columns are available:
Delivery Price
Where you can set the delivery price for All delivery zones (as a catch-all), e.g. enter 1.00 (for £1.00) or Free for free delivery
Delivery Price (Per Zone)
When configuring specific delivery prices for multiple zones, enter all of the delivery prices into this single column in the format Country: Price, Country: Price, e.g. United Kingdom: Free, United States: 10.00, France: 3.50.
You must enter the names of the countries correctly, in accordance with the ShopWired country naming convention.
Single Delivery Cost
Where you enter 1 for the specific delivery price not to be charged multiple times (irrespective of the quantity added to the basket) or 0 for the specific delivery price to be charged separately for each quantity added to the basket
