Product extras

When creating or editing a product:

1. Navigate to the Product extras section and select the Extras tab
2. Select the create extras option (or edit extras if extras are already configured)
3. Enter a Name for the product extra, this will be displayed on your website
4. Enter the Price for the product extra, this will be the price specifically for the extra (and is added onto the parent product's price)
   • If a product extra is free, leave the Price setting empty
5. If you have the gross profit report app installed, enter the product extra's cost price into the Cost price setting
6. If you want to link the product extra to a stand-alone product on your ShopWired account, select the product from the Linked product setting (the product must have a SKU code to be linked)
   • When linking a product extra to another product, you can only select a product and not a specific product variation
   • If the linked product is a product which contains a digital file, an email containing a link to the file will be automatically sent to the customer upon purchase
   • When a customer selects a product extra for their order, the linked product’s stock quantity will be reduced to correspond with the quantity ordered
   • If the product linked to an extra is out of stock, a visitor will not be prevented from adding it to the basket
   • If a product extra is linked to another product, its weight is included in the total basket weight for delivery calculations

To configure product extras using the product import system, use the columns Optional Extra Name X, Optional Extra Price X, Optional Extra Cost Price X, Optional Extra SKU X to configure product extras, e.g.
