HTML header & footer
If you've selected to send transactional emails with an , your HTML emails will include the HTML header and footer defined in your ShopWired account.
The HTML header and footer can be activated or deactivated through your ShopWired account. When activated, they're included in every transactional email your website and ShopWired account sends (including order status emails).
What is the HTML header and footer?
The HTML header and footer are used to:
- Form a template for your transactional emails
- Define styles for your emails (font sizes, colours)
- Include your company logo in the header
- Include the sign-off message for your emails in the footer

To edit the HTML header and footer for your website's emails:
- Navigate to Setting > Emails
- Locate the HTML header & footer section
- Use the settings HTML header and HTML footer
The variable [logo_url]
is used to return the logo uploaded to your ShopWired account. If you want to display a different logo, you can change this variable to the URL of an image file.
Once you've made edits to these settings, preview your changes by selecting the option for one of your transactional emails.

If you've customised your transactional emails so that you don't require an HTML header and footer for any of the emails, you can deactivate the HTML header and footer:

- Locate the HTML header & footer section
