Sales
You can create and display sale prices for products on ShopWired in one of two ways:
- By configuring a when creating or editing the product or a product variation
- By creating a percentage sale
- Percentage sales affect both product and product variation prices
When a product has a sale price, the sale price is displayed anywhere the product is viewed on your website. The design and display of sale prices are determined by your website's theme.

To create a sale for a product or range of products:
- Navigate to Discounts & offers > Sales
- Select
add new sale - Select the sale Product target type
All productsmeans the sale will apply to all the products on your websiteProduct categorymeans the sale will apply to the products within a category that you selectBrandmeans the sale will apply to the product assigned to a brand that you selectProductmeans the sale will apply to a single product that you select
- Configure the Sale discount, which is the off the normal product/variation price
- Select dates using the Sale begins on and Sale expires on settings
- The sale will start at 00:00:00 on the sale begins date
- Use the
nowoption to select that the sale begins immediately - The sale will expire at 23:59:59 on the sale expires date
- Use the
neveroption to select that the sale never expires
Existing sales display in the table shown on the page. Use the active setting to temporarily deactivate a sale.
