Functionality
Functionality
Once your Epos Now integration has been set up, you are ready to start syncing products, stock and orders.
Products
Products will be synced between Epos Now and ShopWired using the SKU code as a reference. The app can send products to Epos Now from ShopWired, or import them into ShopWired from Epos Now.
By default, products will only be transferred between ShopWired and Epos Now when you run a manual sync, but you can also enable automatic syncing to automatically transfer products between both platforms whenever a product is updated or created.
NOTE: Only products with SKU codes can be synced between platforms. For products with variants, every variation will need to have a SKU code in order to be transferred.
Stock
Once products have been initially imported, stock can be pushed from the "master" to the "follower" at any time from the app interface. The app can be configured to sync stock automatically as well.
Orders & customers
The app can be configured to automatically send orders between both platforms.
When an order is transferred, if the customer that placed the order doesn't exist on the alternative platform, then the order can't be synced. The app can, however, be configured to automatically create the customer on the alternative platform when needed, to allow orders to sync.
