Payment gateway test purchase

Once you've setup the payment gateways on your ShopWired website, before launching your website it's a good idea to test that it is working before going live.

A test purchase should be conducted in the same way that a normal customer will order from your website.

If the test purchase is successful then once you have made payment you will be redirected to an order confirmation page on your website and receive an order confirmation email.

When conducting a test purchase make sure the amount of the purchase exceeds $0.50 (some payment gateways have a minimum transaction value) and make sure that if you are testing PayPal you are not attempting to pay with the PayPal account that you are receiving payments into.
