Integrately

Integrately is an automation platform that allows you to send data between applications using webhooks.

When used with ShopWired, Integrately acts as a webhook receiver. ShopWired sends event data to Integrately using webhooks, and the user then chooses what actions that data should trigger within their Integrately account.

Account creation

Create an Integrately account at https://integrately.com.

Once your account is created, obtain your webhook URL from Integrately.

Adding the Integrately webhook to ShopWired

Once you have obtained the webhook URL from Integrately, add it to your ShopWired account so that ShopWired can send event data to Integrately.

Navigate to Your account (top right) > API & webhooks
Navigate to the Webhooks section and select Create webhook
Select the required Webhook topic for example customer.created or order.finalized
Enter the Integrately webhook URL into the Enter the notification URL for the webhook setting

ShopWired will now be configured to send webhook notifications to Integrately when the selected event occurs.

Setting Integrately to receive webhook data

After adding the webhook URL to your ShopWired account, Integrately must receive a webhook event before automation mapping can be completed.

Return to your Integrately automation
Select the option to confirm that the webhook URL has been set
Ensure Integrately is waiting for incoming webhook data

Integrately will remain in a listening state until a webhook event is received from ShopWired.

Triggering a webhook event from ShopWired

To send webhook data to Integrately, complete the action in ShopWired that matches the webhook topic you selected.

For example:

If using the order.finalized webhook topic, place a test order on your ShopWired website
If using the customer.created webhook topic, create a new customer in your ShopWired account

Once the action is completed, ShopWired will send the webhook data to Integrately.

Confirming receipt of webhook data in Integrately

After triggering the webhook event:

Return to Integrately
Select the option to check whether the test record has been received
Wait for Integrately to confirm that webhook data has been captured

Once the webhook data is received, Integrately will make the fields available for mapping.
